::is my name! I'm a visual arts media major with a '''computing emphasis'''. I'm more of a '''studio artist''' because of all the art classes I took since I was little. I turned to computer art because it's so... weird in a way that it's intriguing. if that makes sense. Tedious work can be terrible because my mind wanders so I figured programming would be bad but I like it. Professor Lev Manovich and Jeremy Douglass helped me get into the HTML-biz just last year. 

::But I will always love the old art and the old psychotic artists, like van gogh. The best part of modern art, like the Renaissance or Englightenment era, is the '''satiric content'''. 

::I just got back from studying abroad at the end of December in South Korea. I had an amazing time and would love to travel more. If I could do travel work or at least work for a corporation in the design or advertisement field, I would be '''ecstatic'''. 

:At the first lecture, I wasn't sure what to expect from this class. I'm pretty sure it's gonna change my life though. 

I actually have a love-hate relationship with computers/technology. sometimes I feel like I totally dominate technology and other times I feel like they're out to get me! 
my goal is at the end of this class, I want to feel like I own the gadgets and ''not'' the other way around!

===Book Light===

::The idea I have come up with is a book light but not just any ordinary one. This book light will use a closed push-button that will be pushed when the user opens their book. The idea is to have the light working only when the book is open, and not when it's closed. I would use lots of clips and clamps to get the mini lamp to attach itself to the user's book and a closed push-button that will be pressed on when the book is open.

===Proposal===
I made a project where someone can stash stuff inside a stuffed animal. I have hooked up a servo with a potentiometer and four batteries together. The turning of the potentiometer opens up the neck and closes it.
