Part 1: Set up your 5V power supply

Notice the regulator has three legs. They Looking at the front, they are labelled numbered 1, 2, and 3 from left to right.

On the breadboard the circuit will look like this:

Set up a light bulb on your board as a power indicator. If your board has power, this bulb should turn onas indicated in the images below:
