Working in pairs, come up with Acquire a plan for a simple interactive object composed sensor of some sort... not one of the ones from your kit. Could be a sensorpressure, temperature, VOC, microprocessorrange-finder, and actuator. The sensor will be its means of gathering information from its environment accelerometer (perception?!!), and the actuator will be its way ... there are lots of respondingoptions. Acquire both the sensor and Start with some of the actuator, and bring them to class next weeklinks below. This means... if If you need to order something onlinemore ideas, be sure to do so before look through the weekendweb. Also try local stores: radioshackBe sure to have your new sensor by next week!! We are going to use them in class, Industrial Liquidators, San Diego Electronics Supply, or Frysfor Serial Communications.

For class: Bring in the sensor and the actuator. Also bring in a formal description of your simple interactive object to share with the class. A formal description entails two drawings, a short paragraph, and a basic schematic of "how it works". We will look at those next week.  Don't worry if you don't know how to make it work.
