[http://www.instructables.com/id/SP3E53LFMMCYIJ0Controllable_RGB_LED_system_for_your_home_or_offic/RGB LED System]<hr />This project appeals to my desire for lots of pretty flashing lights, and in a very expandable manner-it is designed to be controlled by a number of different microprocessors including arduino via serial rs-232 or is compatible with DMX-512, the professional grade theatrical and concert lighting control standard. Being able to address different sections of a fixture to create gradients is a very powerful ability, and it beats the hell out of making everything one pwm controlled signal, even 3 as an RGB signal.<hr />
