Working page for Ceramic Extruder head for CreatorBot Pro II.
The idea is the implement a ceramic extruder and retrofit the Creatorbot Pro platform with one. There are a number of published open-source designs for ceramic extruders (incomplete list below), both Direct Drive clay printers and liquid deposition modeling (LDM) slip printers.
Timeline
By spring 2017, we would like to:
- Implement ceramic extruder head from existing design (see references below) or develop own.
- Retrofit creatorbot pro cartesian platform and motor driver firmware with ceramic print head.
- Adapt print head to more exotic print platform (for example suspended pulley, big area manufacturing unit)
