Making a Model

  • Draw a 3d model in your favorite software.
  • Export your model as an .STL file (stereolithography file format).

'*NOTE: When exporting, choose millimeters as your model units'

Slicing a File

3D printable models are generated with slicing software. Slic3r is a good, open source software. We have printer definitions for the CreatorBot to use with slic3r.

NOTE: You must first generate a STL file in Rhino (or your preferred 3d modeling software) to import into slic3r
